Care, Maintenance & Warranty information for your new roof:

Care & maintenance of your new roof is important to extend its lifetime, for warranty purposes

and to preserve its condition and great look.


Therefore you need to undertake regular inspections & wash your roof!

manufactures; COLORSTEEL® and ColorCote® - based on KIWI specific conditions.


             Summary of minimum care schedule:


  • Every 3 months check gutters & facia boards for Lichen, leaves /pollen, minor white corrosion on bends, fasteners or washers showing signs of corrosion
  • If present - wash your roof / have fasteners or washers replaced
  • Every 6 months - check all the above as well checking for corrosion around fixtures and fittings
  • If present - wash your roof / contact roofer to replace fixtures & fittings as necessary


Normal rain washing will help keep your pre-painted roof remain free from most contaminants, although regular inspections and maintenance as listed above

should be completed to uphold you warranty. 


Areas unwashed naturally by rain such as cladding, underside of roof, fascia

and under solar panels require manual washing every 6 months.
